Jacksonville, Florida. A large and beautiful city. And while it is beautiful there are areas that are preferable if you’re looking to live there. Downtown is a not usually as area in which people think of when moving to Jacksonville. Every city has good neighborhoods and bad ones and we all want to avoid the bad ones.
There are some very good but pricey neighborhoods in which to search for homes and a few of these are Baymeadows, Mandarin, Avondale and San Marco. Avondale and San Marco are older neighborhoods with beautifully classical architecture and historic value while Mandarin and Baymeadows provide a more modern selection in the housing market. If you’re looking for something with unique character I’d try Riverside, Lake Shore or Murray Hill. Lovely neighborhoods without the high prices.
Avondale, San Marco, Riverside, Lake Shore and Murray Hill are just some of the areas closer to the center of town. Moving toward the beaches gives you a great many more options in which to look for a home. There is everything from gated communities to private estates.
No matter where you live in Jacksonville you will be able to enjoy the all beauty it has to offer.

1. You will not have to share walls with neighbors if you are in a home, instead of an apartment.
2. The people that enter your home are all familiar to you. When you are in an apartment complex, you will never know everyone who enters the building. That can lead to safety problems if people are not monitored closely.
3. Renting a house will give you your own personal outdoor space. That is beneficial for your children’s safety as well as for entertainment purposes. If you want to have some friends over and spend time outdoors, you will not need to contend with fellow apartment dwellers and their desire to be outside.
4. Space. Single family homes are usually more spacious than an apartment.
5. Renting a home can give you a good idea about the upkeep of a house. If you are planning to purchase your own home in the future, you will be able to prepare yourself for tasks you would need to take care of when you own your home.
6. It just feels more like home. When you are renting an apartment, you may not get that “homey” feeling. They are often more industrial and do not have the added comfort that a home possesses.

Living in an apartment can be a fun experience if you choose an apartment that fits your personality, lifestyle and needs. There are three simple tips to keep in mind while searching for the perfect apartment.

Each apartment is unique in its floor plan, square footage and individual amenities. Determining what your preferences and needs are in terms of space will ensure that you have the best apartment to suit your lifestyle. Whether you are living alone or sharing the apartment with another person, spatial needs will fluctuate depending on your individual preferences.

Just as each individual apartment has amenities, each apartment complex has amenities to offer its residents. If you like to lay poolside in the summertime or would like to throw parties at the clubhouse, an apartment complex’s amenities should be taken into consideration when trying to find the best apartment. The swimming pool, laundry facilities and available parking are factors that should be carefully weighed when making a decision.

Lastly, apartments that are centrally located to the places you visit the most often allow you to effortlessly maintain your lifestyle. An apartment that is near parks or hiking trails would be a great fit for someone who likes to spend time outdoors; whereas, someone who is a student would like an apartment close to campus.

Regardless of your circumstances or preferences, following these simple tips when searching for an apartment will help you make an informed decision.

Living on the third floor is best for a variety of reasons. When many people are contemplating which level of an apartment or condominium they want to rent or purchase, rarely do they consider the third floor to be the most desirable. However, there are a couple of good reasons to opt for the third floor as opposed to the first or second floors; one is the safety benefits, and the other is the higher ceilings in a three story building.

While the safety of the property is reliant upon many factors, such as the location’s crime level and the type of neighbors that live in the building, it is quite a bit safer to live on the third floor as opposed to the first or second.Additional information can be found at http://housold.wordpress.com/2012/01/16/foyerless-in-a-designer-world/. This is because of the lack of easy access into your apartment and a quick get-away for criminals. Most crooks choose to break into apartments on the lowest levels because of the ease of fleeing the scene.

Another good reason as to why living on the third floor is best is the fact that in many cases the ceilings will be higher. In a three story development, the ceilings may be substantially higher on the third floor. These high ceilings add an extra visual appeal to the interior of the place.
